“And Now For Something Completely Different”, (grita o Hipatia, pela voz dos Monthy Python, metendo um susto aos desprevenidos) …

… a blogosfera está a começar a assentar depois das turbulências dos últimos dois meses. Está muito diferente, muito melhor, muito mais plural, com muitas vozes falando de coisas distintas, com blogues novos com temas novos. Está menos literária, sem deixar de estar literária, mais problemática, menos afirmativa e mais curiosa e, até , mais engraçada porque menos engraçadinha.

Blogues como a formiga de langton , o Sócio[B]logue, Companhia de Moçambique , o projecto do Metablogue, o Retórica e Persuasão, Reflexos de Azul Eléctrico, Avatares de Desejo, Médico Explica Medicina a Intelectuais e vários outros, fizeram a diferença. Para sermos justos vieram na sequência dos bons blogue políticos à volta da dupla Coluna Infame – Blog de Esquerda e dos excelentes blogues sobre jornalismo que foram pioneiros como o Ponto Media e o Jornalismo e Comunicação

Uma das melhores descrições da blogosfera está numa citação da Utopia Art Biennial, LX, 2001, feita pela formiga de langton , sobre o "enxame"

"Take any swarm. Take any collective natural system, where many parts are present. Study it. Identify which rules are prominent at local neighbours. The simpler the better. Understand if they are similar in any other natural system. You will probably be astonished. Now, collect them together in any computer. Mix them. Play it and let them evolve by their own.
