Como se faz um modismo jornalístico: de há dias para cá, tornou-se habitual a designação "trabalhadores do sexo", que nunca era usada antes na comunicação social. Bastou uma conferência de imprensa muito anunciada, a propósito da constituição de um sindicato dos ditos "trabalhadores". Já houve outros modismos deste tipo que entretanto quase desapareceram, como o "Timor Lorosae".
